NBM Issues at NCEP
Resolved - Issue has been resolved.

Monitoring - This issue appears to have resolved starting with the 11z NBM run on 2026-04-08. We will continue to monitor the next 2 runs to confirm dissemination of all variables from NCEP has resumed.

Identified - Several downstream product delays prevented data from being ingested into the NBM at NCEP, resulting in missing variables in their data dissemination feeds. Due to these missing variables at NCEP, we have been unable to process NBM endpoints for the StormVista API since the 05z run on 2026-04-08.

NCEPs team is currently working on a permanent solution to the issue but they have alerted us that it will take several cycles before the NBM returns to standard operations. We will update this ticket once the issue is resolved.
